The Apple-Orchard is located north of the air port in Fort Dodge. The Apple-Orchard consists of a kids area, which has a petting zoo and play place, a pumpkin patch to ride to, and a shop that sells apples, apple cider, and much more. The Apple-Orchard provides a place for kids to have fun and see animals. It is a good place during the fall to get pumpkins and apples that are fresh. It provides jobs for the community. There really is no way it could be an issue to anyone. The Apple-Orchard is an asset of Fort Dodge

The Fort Dodge Rosedale Rapids is located on the North East side of Fort Dodge. It is a water park that consists of: Diving boards, basketball hoops, a drop-off slide, two slides for tubes, a toilet bowl slide, a lazy river that has waves going on and off, and a jungle gym like thing for little kids. There is a concession stand for when people get hungry. There is swimming lessions held at the pool. At night the Rosedale Rapids hosts a late night movie. The movie is in the deep end of the pool, and everyone gets tubes to sit in when watching the movie. Rosedale Rapids was a huge improvement for Fort Dodge, because it allows kids and adults to have something to do in the hot summer. The only issue someone could think of, would be someone drowning, but that won't happen. Roosedale Rapids is an asset of Fort Dodge.

The OHV park in Fort Dodge is located on the road going to Coalville. It consists of 15 miles of woods trails and several dirt bike/ four-wheeler tracks. The main track is 1.5 miles long. In the spring of 2015, there will be a campground. There will be 33 campsites with working water and electricity, bbq grills, and picnic tables. There will be showers and restrooms. The OHV park provides an opertunity for kids and adults to have fun with family and friends for one of the best dirt biking community in the state. It could be an issue, because someone could get severely injured or ever worst die. The OHV is an asset to Fort Dodge.

Fort Frenzy is located by Fort Dodge's new middle school. Fort Frenzy was built by the couple who won the lottery from Fort Dodge. It was built for the soul purpose, to give back to the community and have a place for kids to have fun. Fort Frenzy consists of an arcade, bumber boats, go karts, laser tag, mini bowling, mini golf, skating, bumper cars, water wars, and a todler area. Fort Frenzy supplies jobs for a lot of people in the community; especially high schoolers. The money isn't an issue, but children gettting injured could be a possibility. Fort Frezy is an asset of Fort Dodge.

Harlan Rogers is located across the street from the air port in Fort Dodge. Harlan Rogers has soccer fields and baseball/softball fields. The state tournament for softball is always held at Harlan Rogers, because it is one of the nicest sports complex's in Iowa. Baseball and soccer tournaments are commonly held at Harlan Rogers due to the large amount of fields they have. The community benefits from Harlan Rogers, because it is a place for children to practice and play soccer and baseball with their friends and teammates. There is no anyone could see Harlan Rogers being a problem or concern.

Kennedy Park is locatedcof the air port. It consists of a decent sized lake to fish and conoe in, a cabin for parties and graduations, campgrounds, and the Lakeside golf course. The golf couse is a nice sized course with 18 holes. Kennedy Park is a great way to get away from town and have fun with the family in the outdoors. During the winter Kennedy Park has a big hill for sledding and snow-boarding. The cabin is a great place for graduations, parties, and celebrations. Kennedy Park is a great place for the community to go and have fun. There is no possible problem at Kennedy Park.

Iowa Central Community College is located on the west side of Fort Dodge. Iowa Central is a junior college, so you can only go for 2 years. Currently over 5000 students attend ICCC. Iowa Central is growing and improving every year. Having 5000 students is good for the community of Fort Dodge, because it brings in new people from other states that might adventually buy a house and join a business around town. It improves the economy of Fort Dodge, sinse all these students have to buy gas, groceries, and they spend money on things to do for fun around town. The sports that are played their brings entertainment to members of the community aswell. Iowa Central Community College has no issue/ problem for the community. Iowa Central is an asset to Fort Dodge.

Trinity Unity Medical Center is located on the west side of Fort Dodge. Trinity is the main hospital in Fort Dodge. They recieved $1.2 million for it's Accountable Care Organization, which was the first of it's kind in Iowa. The ACO monitors patients in critical care. Trinity Unity Medical Center is in the top 1% for breast cancer treatment. It benifits the community, because members can go there when they are sick or hurt badly. There is no problem/issue with this hospital. Trinity Unity Medical Center is an asset for Fort Dodge.

The Fort Dodge Community School District is a great thing for Fort Dodge. They just build a brand new middle school. There are plenty of elementary schools around town, and one high school and one middle school. It gives the children of Fort Dodge a place to learn and meet new friends. It gives children a chance to play sports and do extra activities, like band and choir. The Fort Dodge Senior High hosts a lot of dances and sports events. Bullying is an issue for any school in the world, but the Fort Dodge Senior High tries to get rid of it by having Rachels Challenge (A speaker that speaks about bullying and Columbine). We still have bullying, but you can never stop bullying. The Fort Dodge Community School District is an asset to Fort Dodge.

The Nature Trail in Fort Dodge starts at Snell Crawford and goes about 3-4 miles. You can bike, run, walk, and even ride horses on the Nature Trail. Cross country and track practices are sometimes held at the Nature Trail. Having the Nature Trail allows kids and adults a place to burn calories and excersize. The Nature Trail is a good place in Fort Dodge, however there have been muggings, assualts, and stabbings on the trail. There was just a stabbing this month, October 2014. To prevent this, you should run the trails with either a partner or pepper spray to protect you. The Nature Trails is an assets and challenge in Fort Dodge.
